Like many, Steve began his professional music career in rock bands
with six years playing both Bass and Guitar. Steven then expanded
his musical interests to become a sought after expert on Double
Bass for Symphony, Opera, Choral works, major works, baroque ensembles,
and the Trout Quintet.
With an extensive repertoire and varied personal interests, he
has played with many, many different groups including: BlueGrass,
Folk Rock, Big Bands, Broadway Shows, Jazz Duos, Trios,
Quartets, Quintets, Sextets etc, from DixieLand to Bebop
to HipHop.
Some Jazz Notables who Steve has gigged with include Charlie Rouse,
Fraser McPherson, Bill Perkins, John Handy, Ernestine Anderson and
Dee Daniels.
